It feels so weird to me that “The Walking Dead” is already getting a spin-off, or companion, series. It feels like it just came out yesterday! My how time flies!
On Monday AMC announced that they have given the go ahead to series creator Robert Kirkman and executive producers Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert in regards to creating a pilot episode for the official “Walking Dead” companion series. Interestingly enough, representatives for AMC and “The Walking Dead” declined to comment when asked if the new series had received more than a pilot order.
TVLine.com has the exclusive break down of the principal cast featured in the pilot and the rest of the first season should it receive a full season order. What I find particularly interesting is, in the character break downs, it becomes suspect that the companion show will take place before or right at the start of the zombie outbreak…
