“HEAD” is a throwback to the 70s and 80s b-movies that Horror fans have grown up loving, but they’re doing it the Elmwood way: with puppets! And if you’re thinking this is going to be a wacky, zany camp fest with silly cartoon action… You’re dead wrong. This is set to be the first straight puppet horror film.

For more than a decade, Elmwood Productions has been making shorts and series using the medium of Henson-style puppetry, but this is the first time the group is taking on the Horror genre. This is also the first time the Connecticut-based company is employing outside funds, as Elmwood has been almost entirely self-funded since day one.

Production is already underway, but the funding from this Kickstarter will assist in Post-Production and Distribution costs, as well as purchasing more equipment for pick-ups and for future productions.

But for your money, Elmwood is offering some great incentives, including copies of the movie, personalized DVDs, Executive Producer credits, the actual puppets from the film (once completed), and even a puppet in your likeness to be used in a future Elmwood project, which will be yours to keep following the shoot!

So please, if you are so inclined, donate today. Time is running out on funding period, and you don’t want to miss out on a truly unique take on the art forms of puppetry and horror!!!
