2004 – One of original “scream queens,” Janet Leigh, mother of Jamie Curtis, star of “Psycho” and co-star of “The Fog” and “Halloween H2O,” passed away at the age of 77.

1998 – Roddy McDowall, passed away at the age of 70.. He of course played “Cornelius” in the “Planet of the Apes” films and TV series and horror host “Peter Vincent” in the “Night Fright” films.

1997 – John Ashley who starred in the films “Frankenstein’s Daughter,” “The Mad Doctor of Blood Island” and “Beast of the Yellow Night,” passed away at the age of 62.
