Black Fawn to Release New Film “The Door”

The Door - FINAL POSTER (Web)

Our Canadian friends Black Fawn has had a great run with films lately with all their releases and it looks like they have another hit on their hands with their newest film The Door.  Check out the press release for the film below:

Switchblade Studios and Good Soldier Films have awarded the Canadian home video rights for their new horror feature THE DOOR to Black Fawn Distribution. The film will be released on DVD in Canada on October 28, 2014. Juice Worldwide will release the film through iTunes and other digital platforms on October 14, 2014.

“I am thrilled and excited to be releasing my latest movie THE DOOR with the amazing people at Black Fawn Distribution,” states director Patrick McBrearty. “My goal was to make a movie with some old school, slow build scares and I wanted the environment to play a big part in the story as well. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the best cast and crew members ever and I honestly feel that this is the best movie I’ve ever made.”

“Horror films that have a mystery at the centre of them are always intriguing and we thought THE DOOR was pretty provocative right out of the gate,” explains BFD Sales Manager C.F. Benner. “Since the film is built around a major unknown, it’s going to be a really fun ride for a lot of horror fans.”

THE DOOR DVD will include director commentary, behind the scenes interviews with the cast and a selection of trailers. The film can be pre-ordered at the following links
