2008 – Christopher Wicking, who wrote the screenplays for the films “The Oblong Box,” “Scream and Scream Again,” “Blood From the Mummy’s Tomb” and “To the Devil a Daughter,” passed away at the age of 65.

2007 – Noel Coleman, who appeared in the films “Edge of Sanity,” “Burke and Hare” and the TV shows “Doctor Who” and “The Avengers,” passed away at the age of 87.

2002 – Sidney W. Pink, who wrote and produced such films as “Journey to the Seventh Planet,” “Reptillicus” and “The Angry Red Planet,” passed away at the age of 86.

1995 – David McLean, who played the Marlboro Man on TV commercials, and appeared in the films “Kingdom of the Spiders” and “The Strangler,” passed away at the age of 73. Ironically enough, from lung cancer.

1958 – Ed Hinton who appeared in the films, “The 27th Day” and “Red Planet Mars,” passed away at the age of 39.
