Stephens Sanitarium Becomes Green Park Clinic in New Don’t Look in the Basement 2 Trailer.

It’s a sequel 40 years in the making, and hopefully one that horror fans will embrace. My only complaint with this idea is that the production team didn’t film a behind-the-scenes documentary to accompany the new film. This is definitely a piece of horror history, especially given the fact that Don’t Look in the Basement 2 was created by Don’t Look in the Basement director S.F. Brownrigg’s son, Anthony.

Anthony Brownrigg is most known to cinema viewers as the director of Red Victoria. Anthony has written, directed, and executively produced this feature film – currently titled id: Don’t Look in the Basement 2 – and he also made the decision to pack the film with some indie horror veterans. Those cast members include Frank Mosley (White Creek), Arianna Margot (By the Devil’s Hands), Andrew Sensenig (Nine Dead), Chester Rushing (Bellatrix), Angela Gair (After Sundown), Jim O’Rear (The Hospital), John Phelan (Blood on the Highway), and Scott Tepperman (Camp Massacre). id: Don’t Look in the Basement 2 will feature an appearance from original 1973 cast member Camilla Car and Libby Hall’s (The Naked Witch) first credit in over 50 years.

“In 1972, the patients and doctors at Stephens Sanitarium were brutally murdered. Over forty years later, the only known survivor returns only to find the ghosts of the past have not been resting in peace.”

As of October 2014, a rough cut of id: Don’t Look in the Basement 2 was completed. Finishing touches are being added to the film and it currently has an anticipated premiere scheduled for 2015. Until then, keep your eyes glued to the film’s official Facebook page and take a look at the second trailer for this sequel below.
