Synopsis:
Patient is a supernatural thriller about a young woman named Rachel who ends up paralyzed from the waist down after escaping from a cult suicide. While in the hospital, she is haunted by the spirits of the deceased cult members who promise her a week of torture ending in death as punishment for breaking her oath to the cult. They also curse her voice, so that anyone who hears it will die, as a means of protecting their secrets. Rachel’s only family is her brother Jesse, and his son Alex, whom she is now unable to speak to. The apparitions then set their sights on Rachel’s nephew and offer to take his soul in exchange for her own. With only a week left to live, Rachel must find a way to save both her and her family from the mistakes of her past.
