Party like it’s Halloween 1989: ‘THE BARN’ enters post-production.

TheBarnThe poster art for The Barn is absolutely amazing! It has a retro feel to it while also giving us glimpses at the evils that lurk inside. I’m extremely eager to see this film based on the poster alone, which means my approval can only rise higher by the time I actually see it. It’ll be a little bit of a wait, though, as The Barn has just recently moved into post-production and has an anticipated release date of October 2015.

While I wait for stills and a trailer to be released, let me take a moment to give you the information breakdown on this upcoming title. The Barn is penned and directed by Justin M. Seaman under Nevermore Production Films. Cast members who appear in this flick include Mitchell Musolino (“The Men Who Built America”), Will Stout, Lexi Dripps, Cortland Woodard, Nikki Darling, Nickolaus Joshua, David Hampton, Rik Billock (Dawn of the Dead), James Weldon (DreamKeeper), and Ryan Nodgy (Gore Orphanage).

In The Barn it’s Halloween 1989 and the film follows, “best friends Sam and Josh who are trying to enjoy what’s left of their final Devil’s Night before graduating high school. But trouble arises when the two pals and a group of friends take a detour on their way to a rock concert, finding an old abandoned barn and awakening the evil inside. Now it’s up to Sam and Josh to find a way to protect their friends and defeat the creatures that lurk within.”

Despite not being released yet, The Barn has already won a “Best Original Score” award at the Underground Monster Carnival Film Festival and has also been featured on Fangoria. I’ve been added to the press list for this title, so I’ll make sure to keep all of the readers up-to-date on this film as the announcements begin to roll in.
