L’Amour A La Page & the neo giallo The Transparent Woman

Following the critical success of the horror film Phantasmagoria directed by Mickael Abbate, Domiziano Cristopharo and Tiziano Martella, the movie was officially selected at 20 worldwide film festivals and won the Antonio Marghereti prize at ToHorror (Torino Film Festival). M International Films will produce 4 new films (short and feature films) in 2015 and 2016. Phantasmagoria is an ghastly horror anthology, 3 stories about fear, an homage to the Italian Horror films. The film should get an international release on DVD and VOD early 2015.

M International Films just produced 2 short films, L’Amour A La Plage (Finland title : Rakkaus) a Finnish and French coproduction, directed by Mickael Abbate (Phantasmagoria), an erotic and fantasy short film, shot to be part of a French Anthology Film 10 Great Moments of Pleasure and Desire, a collection of 10 short films directed by LGBTQI talents, bringing a fresh and original vision on the desire and pleasure themes, with an intellectual, psychological or physical approach. L’Amour A La Plage evokes the visual style by director Gregg Araki.

“Jayce goes out to explore the mysterious Mediterranean island called Neverland. He discovers a strange realm where fantasy rules, and where the complexity of his own desires is revealed and unveiled.” A coproduction with Cutline (Finland), this short film reveals newcomers actors Valentino Cassitta, Florian Giralt & Maxime Ménard.

Them, directed by Carolina Moggia, follows the wandering of a submissive woman in London. This short film, coproduced by France, Finland, England and Italy, evokes Andrzej Zulawski’s masterpiece Possession.

2 Feature Films are currently in pre production:

The Transparent Woman, a neo giallo film directed by Domiziano Cristopharo shot in Italy with Roberta Gemma and Arian Levanael (P.O.E.
Pieces of Eldritch). Anna is a beautiful sweet blind woman, but fiercely independent. Her husband Carl has financial problems and sells the apartment where they lived and move in his old house in the fields. Anna is not happy there and is most of the time all alone… but noises and strange facts force her to think that someone is in the house too… or “something”.

Danza Macabra, a new horror anthology film produced by M International Films, will be shot in Mexico, South America, France and Italy. The directors working on this project will be unveiled at the 2015 EFM.
