“BITTEN” Returns: Werewolf drama’s second season to premiere February 7, 2015.

bittenposterI have been howling and pawing for new “Bitten” media since the show was renewed for a second season in May 2014. “Bitten,” which is based on the best selling book series by Kelley Armstrong, follows Elena Michaels, the only female werewolf to ever exist as she tries to balance her normal life, her love life, and her grim and bloody allegiance to The Pack. Season one concluded with a cliffhanger that left all werewolves with the lust for blood and revenge. After months of waiting, the retribution is almost set to begin.

It was announced on Thursday, December 18th that “Bitten” would officially return to the Space Channel in Canada on February 7, 2015. The premiere episode will be the first episode in a shortened, ten episode season. You can find the show’s first promo clip at the end of this post.

“Season two sees The Pack on the hunt for Malcolm. In their quest to capture him, they uncover a more sinister force that threatens the existence of the werewolf species. This season also introduces The Pack to a coven of witches with whom they are forced to form an uneasy alliance in order to fight a common foe.” — HuffingtonPost

While “Bitten” became Space Channel’s #1 show in 2014, it struggled to find a strong fan-base on SyFy and only managed to average 772,000 viewers for each episode. No premiere date has been set for The States on SyFy as of this writing, but since the series aired on a couple day delay last year, it’s possible fans in America could still see The Danvers family again in February as well.

“Bitten” is lead by the amazing cast of Laura Vandervoort, Greyston Holt, Greg Bryk, Steve Lund, and Michael Xavier.
