One Night of Fear is an upcoming horror feature that is written and directed by Brian Troxell (of Intrusive Behavior fame) with Johnna Troxell. Cast members attached to appear include Jessica Sonneborn (Bloody Bloody Bible Camp), Suzi Lorraine (Pinup Girls on Ice), Jimmy Dempster, Russ Forga, Jason Sutton, and Megan Sweet.
The plot is inspired by true stories from The Ocala National Forest of how multiple campers, hikers and the like have gone missing over the years with no trace every being found. One Night of Fear follows hikers Rob, Katie, Jaclyn, Pete, and Brittany as they are out for a weekend in the woods. After Jaclyn witnesses her boyfriend Pete getting killed the group takes refuge inside a home inside the state park. With Pete dead and Brittany missing, they must rely on their instincts to survive. Help seems to come early in the form of a park ranger named Elmer but soon he is just as trapped as they are. Their best hope is to stay inside the house and try to survive as they are stalked by an unknown killer who seems to have an axe to grind.
