  • 2011 – Paul Picerni, character actor who appeared in many films and TV shows including “House of Wax”, “The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms”, “The Fearmaker”, “Circle of Fear (TV Series)”, “Kolchak: The Night Stalker (TV Series)”.
  • 2003 – Kinji Fukasaku, who directed the films “Batoru Rowaiaru” and “Batoru Rowaiaru 2″ a.k.a. “Battle Royale” and “Battle Royale 2,” passed away at the age of 72. He also directed “Message From Space” and “The Green Slime.”
  • 1991 – Keye Luke who played “The # 1 son” in the “Charlie Chan films,” Peter Lorre’s assistant in “Mad Love,” “Kato” in the 1940’s series of “Green Hornet” films,”Master Po” in the series “Kung Fu” and “Gremlins” passed away at the age of 86. He also provided the voice of “Hiroshi Koizumi” in the English dubbed version of “Gigantis the Fire Monster.”
  • 1976 – “The Queen of Crime,” mystery writer Agatha Christie passed away at the age of 81.
