  • 2014 – Gordon Hessler, director of such films as “Tales of the Haunted”, “KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park”, “Kolchak: The Night Stalker (TV Series)”, “Cry of the Banshee”, “Scream and Scream Again”, “The Oblong Box” and more. He passed away at the age of 88.
  • 2009 – Robert Broughton who did visual effects for the films “Tron,” “The Birds” and “The Black Hole,” passed away at the age of 91.
  • 2008 – Suzanne Pleshette who played Bob Newhart’s wife “Emily Hartley” for six seasons, passed away at the age of 80. She co-starred in the films “The Power” and “The Birds.”
  • 2006 – Legendary singer Wilson Pickett, at the age of 64. His songs were used in such films as “Fright Night Part 2″ and “Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight.”
  • 2006 – Tony Franciosa, who starred in the films “Web of the Spider,” “Tenebre” and “Death House” (a.k.a. “Zombie Death House), passed away at the age of 77.
  • 2005 – Cal Bolder, who appeared in the film “Jesse James Meets Frankenstein’s Daughter” and the TV series “Star Trek” and “The Man From Uncle,” passed away at the age of 74.
  • 1992 – Glenn Langan who played the title role of “The Amazing Colossal Man,” passed away at the age of 73. He also appeared in the films “War of the Colossal Beast” and “Women of the Prehistoric Planet.”
  • 1973 – Bill Nagy, who appeared in the films “First Man Into Space,” “Z.P.G.” and “Battle Beneath the Earth,” passed away at the age of 72.
