  • 2009 – Robert Quarry, who played the title roles in the films “Count Yorga, Vampire,” “The Return of Count Yorga” and “The Deathmaster,” passed away at the age of 83. He also starred in “Dr. Phibes Rises Again,” “Sugar Hill” and “Madhouse.”
  • 2005 – Sandra Dee who starred in the film “The Dunwich Horror,” and appeared in TV shows such as “Night Gallery” and “The Sixth Sense,” passed away at the age of 62.
  • 2001 – Rosemary DeCamp, who starred in the original version of “13 Ghosts,” passed away at the age of 90.
  • 1992 – Dick York, who played “Darren Stephens” on the TV show “Bewitched,” passed away at the age of 63. He also starred in the “Twilight Zone” episode “A Penny For Your Thoughts,” the “Thriller” episode “The Incredible Doktor Markesan” and in six episodes of “Alfred Hitchcock Presents.”
  • 1975 – Duke Mitchell who played “Duke Mitchell” in the film “Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla,” passed away at the age of 48.
  • 1936 – Max Schreck, best known for portraying the rat faced vampire “Nosferatu” in the horror classic.
