The “American Horror Story” franchise has been in somewhat of a tail spin lately. First there was the tragic death of season four recurring cast-member Ben Woolf (Meep). Then there was the announcement that pop-star Lady Gaga would be the lead for season five, dubbed “Hotel,” and that 2x Oscar Winner and 3x Emmy Winner Jessica Lange would not return to the franchise after being one of the pinnacle players from the very beginning.

With so much uncertainty regarding this FX series and its thirteen episode upcoming season due out in the Fall, there’s finally one shred of normalcy that fans can appreciate: Chloe Sevigny will return for the upcoming season of “American Horror Story.” Previously, Sevigny played the character of Shelley in six episodes of the show’s second season, “Asylum.” It’s being rumored that she will play a nymphomaniac that meets a gruesome fate as a series regular during “Hotel.”

Chloe Sevigny joins the already announced cast of Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson. “American Horror Story” is Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
