superiorpics_lindy_booth-02She didn’t come into the industry unnoticed, she came in like a fuckin’ wrecking ball! Lindy Booth, who was born in Canada in April of 1979, has been a constant force in the world of horror and science fiction. Although she has given her time to all areas of film and television, fans of those particular genres will instantly recognize this redhead by her picture and by her resume!

Lindy Booth’s first on screen credit was the lead role of Carrie Taylor in “Eerie, Indiana: The Other Dimension” in 1998. The following year she played the lead in Teenage Space Vampires, an extra in Adam Rifkin’s Detroit Rock City and starred as Claudia on “Relic Hunter,” a series she stayed with until 2000. After completing that project, she booked guest spots on other scifi series such as “Earth: Final Conflict,” “Big Wolf on Campus,” “Mutant X,” “Strange Days at Blake Holsey High” and “The Twilight Zone.”

From there she started a big career in straight-to-DVD horror titles and box office hits as a supporting actress. These roles include The Skulls (2002), Cassandra in American Psycho II: All American Girl (2002), Francine in Wrong Turn (2003), Nicole in Dawn of the Dead (2004), Dodger in Cry_Wolf (2005), Category 7: The End of the World (2005), Dark Honeymoon (2008) and Behind the Wall (2008). During this time she never strayed from the world of television, with guest spots on “The 4400,” “CSI: NY,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “Cold Case,” “Warehouse 13” and “NCIS.”

So, where is Lindy Booth now?

She continued to act into the 2010s decade, although nothing would be very noteworthy for a while. In 2013 her career received another upswing after she booked a guest spot on “Supernatural” and a small role in Kick Ass 2. 2014 turned out to be an even bigger year for her when she landed the role of Cassandra Cillian on the hit TNT series, “The Librarians.” The show was renewed for a second season which will broadcast in early winter 2015.
