Since its inception three years ago, an independent horror film originally titled Chill has been pushing forward with gaining access to a worldwide audience. Finally, in February, Chill was opted for distribution by Alchemy Werks and is headed for a Fall 2015. Starting to get the ball rolling on promotion, sources working with the film’s producers have retitled it to Chill: The Killing Games and have just released the first teaser trailer below!
Get a new glimpse at the movie I called something “that could revitalize the murder-mystery subgenre and bring it back to prominence” and “groundbreaking as far as this subgenre goes;” a title that follows a group of college students attempting to turn an ill-fated campus tradition into a viral-game. Soon, the players become trapped in an all too real battle for survival against a violent masked assailant.
Chill: The Killing Games is directed by Meredith Holland and Noelle Bye, who also co-produced and co-wrote the indie feature along with Roger Conners. Conners plays the lead role of Kyle, and is supported in this flick by Brad Arner, Janine Sarnowski, DJ Remark, Angelia DeLuca, Bella Sin, Jason Orr, Erinn Bakun, Rick Montgomery Jr., Benny Benzino and Kelly Joann Rogers.
