The Blood in the Snow Canadian Film Festival is proud to announce the prizes donated for their yearly awards “The Bloodies” including free (or massively discounted) postproduction, editing and consulting. The awards will be announced at the closing party of the festival on Sunday November 29th, 2015.

“We are really excited to be able to help filmmaker’s take it to the next step past simply just playing the festival.” explains Festival Director and Founder Kelly Michael Stewart. “We are a very filmmaker focused festival and it is part of our mandate to help promote and educate emerging filmmakers. Having these exciting prizes to help their next project will give filmmakers a great advantage that they didn’t have before in Canada.”

The Festival runs this year from November 27 to the 29th, 2015 at the Carlton Cinemas in Toronto ON. Its nine programs of features and shorts highlight the best in contemporary Canadian genre cinema. The festival will have its vendor village return along with new filmmaker seminars and the theatre is fully licensed.
