Clint Eastwood’s Daughter Makes Horror Debut

av-poster

Kathryn Eastwood (Jersey Boys), younger sister of Scott Eastwood (Suicide Squad) and the first of Clint Eastwood’s daughters to be named Miss Golden Globe, makes her horror film debut in the zombie anthology Virus of the Dead. Her segment, American Virus, also stars Shane Ryan (Samurai Cop 2) and Tommie Vegas (The Interrogation of Cheryl Cooper, The Trust), and was directed by Ryan, who co-wrote the script with Eastwood.

Other filmmakers with segments in the anthology include James Cullen Bressack (director of Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys with Shannen Doherty and Christopher Lloyd) and Ryan Nicholson (Gutterballs, Live Feed). Tony Newton (VOTD’s UK-based anthology creator) boards the anthology himself with his segment Cam Girl, starring Mhairi Calvey, who recently returned to acting after nearly 20 years since her debut film role in Mel Gibson’s Braveheart.
