Depicted as “a truly emotive and evocative sendoff that ebbs and flows over well-utilized strings” (Heavy Blog is Heavy), “A Vivid Memory” – the Prosthetic debut by Floridian instrumental outfit SET AND SETTING, who were recently named “best local metal/hardcore act” by Tampa’s Creative Loafing newspaper – was released to critical acclaim last fall. Featuring eight sprawling tracks of post-metal/post-rock atmospherics, the album was recorded with Ryan Haft (Torche) and takes the listener through the last moments of life from an insider’s and outsider’s perspective

Today, SET AND SETTING are thrilled to unveil the new music video for the album’s vigorous track “Coping”! Directed by Todd White (Toxic Holocaust) at UP Productions with CGI effects provided courtesy of www.beeple-crap.com, the video can now be seen at NOISEY here: https://noisey.vice.com/blog/set-and-setting-video or streamed below.

SET AND SETTING have also announced plans for a headlining jaunt across the East Coast this August featuring direct support from labelmates North before they are scheduled to appear at Gainesville’s Fest 14 this October.
