It doesn’t look like anyone is having a sunshine-y day in these newly released promotional photos from Chase Dudley’s Retribution. The psychological thriller that combines drama and horror has officially wrapped principal photography and has begun the tedious task of post production. As of the film’s last update on Facebook, UK’s Tony Longworth (Evil Ever After, The Vampires of Zanzibar, Morning Funeral) was announced as Retribution‘s music composer. You’ll get to hear all of Tony’s tunes when Retribution premieres later this year.
“Idealistic Louisville prosecutor Marissa Danvers makes a personal and heartfelt connection with Callie Hollins, a 15-year-old girl who went through years of sexual abuse at the hands of Mr. Monty, the owner of a group home for troubled teens. Promising she will deliver justice, Marissa takes Monty to trial, but loses hope and her crusade against a broken and corrupt system. Five years later, she puts into motion a brutally violent plan for retribution, assembling Monty’s now grown victims on a mission of vengeance.”
Written by Brent Slabchuck and directed by Chase Dudley, Retribution will star Leila Toba, Caitlin Sullivan, Casey Miracle, Patrick Alred, Paul Loh, Chase Dudley, Sandra Holliger, George Robert Bailey and Chavon Lewis.
