  • 2015 – “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, was a Hall of Fame WWE wrestler and actor. He appeared in “They Live”, “Hell Comes to Frogtown”, “Ghosts of Goldfield”, “Street Team Massacre”, “A Gothic Tale”, “The Portal” and more. He died at the age of 61 from cardiac arrest in his sleep.
  • 2013 – Michael Ansara, character actor who appeared in “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (TV Series)”, “The Manitou”, “Day of the Animals”, “It’s Alive”, “Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy” and he did tons of voice work. He was 91.
  • 2009 – Prolific producer Harry Alan Towers, whose films include 1970’s “Count Dracula,” “Edge Sanity” and “The Mummy Lives.”
  • 2004 – Virginia Grey, who starred in the films “The Black Zoo,” “Unknown Island” and “Target Earth,” passed away at the age of 87.
  • 1993 – Lénore Aubert who appeared in the films “Catman of Paris,” “Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein” and “Abbott & Costello Meet the Killer: Boris Karloff,” passed away at the age of 75.
  • 1987 – Jospeh E. Levine, who was responsible for bringing “Godzilla” to America, and also produced the films “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians” and “Mad Monster Party,” passed away at the age of 81.
  • 1980 – Bobby Van, who appeared in “The Navy vs. the Night Monsters” and “The Doomsday Machine,” passed away at the age of 51.
