Wizard World Chicago: ‘TALES OF HALLOWEEN’ Opens Bruce Campbell’s Horror Film Festival To a Packed House!

Part of this weekend’s Wizard World Comic Con in Chicago is Bruce Campbell’s Horror Film Festival, now in its second year. This year’s lineup of horror film screenings is truly incredible. The first film to kickoff the film fest was the highly anticipated horror anthology, Tales Of Halloween. The film opened to a packed house and rave reviews. One of the most buzzed about films opening this summer, Epic’s “Turbo Kid,” starring Munro Chambers (Degrassi: The Next Generation) and sci-fi icon Michael Ironside and directed-written by Canadian born directing trio Anouk WhissellFrançois Simard and Yoann-Karl Whissell, ‎will screen exclusively at Muvico Theaters on Sunday, Aug 23rd at 3PM.. Film festival favorite “JeruZalem” directed byDoron and Yoav Paz (TIFF and Berlinale’sPhobidilia), stars hot breakout actress Yael Grobglas (Jane the Virgin) and follows two American girls on vacation who join a mysterious and handsome anthropology student on a trip to Jerusalem.  The adventure is cut short when the trio are caught in the middle of a biblical apocalypse.
