‘6:15’ POV Zombie Film – First Look Clip! (and It Does Look Amazing!)

firstglance‘6:15’ POV Zombie Film – First Look Clip

We are overjoyed to send along a first look clip of the POV Zombie Film 6:15! Chris Hardwick’s The Nerdist just picked up the scent and the word is getting out.

With tonal homages to Romero, the audience *is* the protagonist, living the action and emotion of a viral outbreak on an isolated Pennsylvania farm. With practical FX by three “Face Off” contestants, what you see on camera in one-shot, in real-time, from the first-person perspective is a whole new level of immersive horror experience!

Writer/director Ben Samuels previously helmed Kantemir, starring Robert Englund, and Watch Me, starring Nashville’s Nick Jandl. He made 6:15 with his brother, Oliver. The film stars Camp Dread‘s Montana Marks, The Neighbor‘s Amy Rutledge, Matt Riker, Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys’ Rosebud Baker, and Canadian MuchMusic VJ Bradford How.

6:15 is a true horror indie, made outside the studio system on location in Romero’s Pennsylvania. Enjoy the clip and feel free to join the apocalypse by sharing it with your incredible genre fan base as we get the word out and hunt for distribution — Time Is Running Out!

  1. So nobody notices the zombies patiently hiding behind the tree or next to the car, waiting for the exact right moment to come out into view of the person wearing the GoPro?

I give it points for conceptual ambition, but I fear that the first-person perspective is going to make it more difficult to suspend disbelief, not less.
