With the release of SCALE THE SUMMIT‘s new album “V” just around the corner, founder and lead guitarist Chris Letchford will return to the band’s birthplace — Hollywood’s revered Musicians Institute — to perform a special guitar clinic for current students and alumni. The clinic will take place next Thursday, Sept. 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. Further details on the clinic can be found here: https://mi.edu/guitar-clinic-with-chris-letchford-on-september-10/.
The following night, Letchford will perform live at the annual “More Than A Cone” art festival at The Autry Museum in Los Angeles. The charity event, hosted by actress Judy Greer (Arrested Development, Archer), invites artists to create their own renditions of the “cone of shame” in order to raise awareness and support local and national animal advocacy programs and adoption centers. Tickets and additional information can be found on the event flyer pictured below or at https://www.morethanacone.com/event/.

Described as “one of the forerunners of contemporary prog metal” (Blabbermouth), SCALE THE SUMMIT will release “V” on Sept. 18. The album expertly showcases the instrumental progressive rock band’s sound as it ebbs and flows across an array of beguiling soundscapes throughout each of its ten tracks. Mixed and mastered by Jamie King (BTBAM, The Contortionist), “V” is now available for pre-order on CD and LP (including black, white and clear vinyl options) at prostheticrecords.com/scalethesummit. Digital pre-orders, which include instant downloads of new songs “Stolas” and “Kestrel,” are also available via iTunes , Bandcamp and Amazon. Look for another new track to be unveiled in the coming days.
