Porn Stars Are Afraid to Get Wet in New Film ‘The Valley Drowner’ from Director Jared Cohn

Written and directed by Jared Cohn, starring Randy Waney, Demetrius Stear and Sara Malakul Lane, and produced by Gabriel Campisi.

Synopsis – After killing his sexually-abusive babysitter in a swimming pool, a troubled young man grows up with a compulsion to drown women and becomes a cultural phenomenon in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley.

Set in Los Angeles’ cinematic San Fernando Valley, The Valley Drowner is a colorful serial killer inspired by true events. Johnny Taylor (played by Randy Wayne), has a big problem… He LOVES to drown good-looking girls. He sees water and an attractive female, and something in his head just begs him to kill. And when the only work Johnny can find is cleaning pools, the trouble begins. Filled with colorful characters, beautiful women, and set against the backdrop of the drug-fueled porn industry, The Valley Drowner encapsulates the desire for fame, the lust of desire, and the urge to kill.

A Traplight Media production, the film just wrapped production and is in post-production. It is slated for a 2016 release.
