“On February 1, 2016, Screams Quarterly Magazine will make its debut electronically. Two weeks after, the newsstand release will follow. SQ, a product of Harvest Moon Motion Pictures & Television and Editor-In Chief Amy Humphries, grants access to the most innovative players in the horror genre.
Screams Quarterly Magazine will bring a fresh and innovative approach to their content in all aspects of horror. The staff consists of a group of veteran writers with many years of experience, spanning from websites to print publication magazines. The diversity of the writers lends to the symmetry of collaboration, resulting in a brand-new experience in horror.
The first issue is entitled, “The Matriarchs of Screams”. SQ pays tribute giving a well-deserved honor to the women of horror. This issue will delve into those that have defined the role of women in this genre and how it has evolved over the years. The public can look forward to interviews with both legendary and new up and coming names in the industry. A sneak peek includes Cassandra Peterson, Barbara Crampton,Tiffany Shepis, Lin Shaye, Eryn Mekash, Jessica Felice, and many more. SQ will host a plethora of additional reviews and special features.”
