Born in Texas in the month of September 1973, Shannon originally started her career as a dancer and tennis player. In 1996, though, she started acting in television guest spots in a variety of TV shows including “Step by Step.” The following year, she appeared in a small but memorable role, as Jill Metzner, in killer snowman movie Jack Frost (1997). A few years later she really hit the big time when she co-starred as Nadia “the hot foreign chick” in American Pie. She followed up this success with another co-starring role in horror-comedy parody Scary Movie (2000) as Buffy Gilmore.

Shannon then rounded out the next two years in comedies like Tomcats, American Pie 2, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back before heading back to horror as one of the leads, Kathy Kriticos, in Thirteen Ghosts (2001). She returned to television for a small time, with guest spots in “Just Shoot Me,” “Off Centre” and “The Twilight Zone” before she landed a recurring role in “That 70’s Show” from 2003 to 2005. Also in 2005, she was the second lead, Becky, in Wes Craven’s Cursed. Her career hit a bit of a dry spell after that, with her only roles worth mentioning including the lead in indie horror’s You Belong to Me (2008) and as Angela in the Night of the Demons remake of 2009.

So, where is Shannon Elizabeth now?

The second leg of her career continues to be a slow one, though she continues to book important roles every now and then. Some of her most recent work include reprising the role of Nadia in American Reunion (2012), a supporting role in psychological horror-thriller In the Dark (2013) and a guest appearance in “Melissa & Joey” also in 2013. Shannon also devotes a large portion of her time to animal welfare charities and developing her own production company Ganesha Productions.
