The second big genre commercial of the Superbowl is the new clip from Paramount Picture’s 10 Cloverfield Lane. This is the purported sequel to the smash 2008 monster opus, which is still shrouded in mystery by producer JJ Abrams. The film opens in theaters on March 11th, 2016.
10 Cloverfield Lane is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and produced by Abrams’ Bad Robot shingle.
The film stars John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Gallagher Jr., Mat Vairo, Jamie Clay, and Cindy Hogan.
Plot Synopsis
Waking up from a car accident, a young woman finds herself in the basement of a man who says he’s saved her life from a chemical attack that has left the outside uninhabitable.
