Los Angeles, CA – 9 February, 2016 – Just in time for WOMEN IN HORROR month, writer/director/producer, Kathleen Behun, signs with Empress Road Pictures to handle worldwide sales of her multiple award-winning indie supernatural thriller feature, 21 DAYS.
The story is about three filmmakers who embark on a paranormal challenge by barricading themselves in a house so haunted, no one has been able to live in more than 21 days, in order to film the supernatural phenomena which presumably occur… but nothing can prepare them for the evil that lies in wait…
To date, the film has garnered eight awards while on the festival circuit, which include: (5) for BEST FEATURE FILM (Freakshow Horror Film Festival, Los Angeles Film and Script Festival, RIP Horror Film Festival, The Philip K Dick Science Fiction Film Fest and the Los Angeles Horror Competition); (2) for BEST DIRECTOR (RIP Horror and The Los Angeles Horror Competition); and (2) for BEST ACTOR- Max Hambleton (Freakshow Horror Film Festival and The Los Angeles Horror Competition.)
The film is written, directed and produced by first time feature director, Kathleen Behun, and co-produced by filmmakers, Jessica Villegas Lattuada and Fernando Barreda Luna (ATROCIOUS).
The film stars Max Hambleton, Whitney Rose Pynn (NBC’S AQUARIUS) and Mickey River (UNFRIENDED.)
