Scorpio Film Releasing, New England’s award-winning and most prolific producer of genre cinema, is proud to announce the premiere date for its feature film: The wickedly comedic horror film SEVEN DORMS OF DEATH. Filmed in the Winter of 2015 in West Warwick, Rhode Island and several Massachusetts locations, director Richard Griffin, writer Matthew Jason Walsh, and producer Ted Marr are set to unleash their newest cinematic rollercoaster to a fun-loving audience.

“It was a great honor to be able to direct a screenplay from genre legend Matthew Jason Walsh, who’s penned such cult classics as The Killer Eye, The Brotherhood and Witchhouse.”, says director Richard Griffin. “Seven Dorms of Death is a loving tribute to the shot-on-video horror films of the 80s like Blood Cult and Video Violence. Outside of having some extremely gruesome scenes of terror, the movie is also hysterically funny. We like to call it “The Airplane! of slasher films”, and I think even the most jaded horror fan who might hate horror comedies will eat this up.”

The Synopsis:

Seven Dorms of Death tells the tale of a curse stage play that is about to be performed at Dunwich University. Unfortunately for the director, the young cast, and anyone else involved with the production someone has much deadlier plans for this play! Can a pair of homicide detectives (Aaron Andrade and Dan Mauro), an intrepid newspaper reporter (Laura Pepper), a misunderstood Satanist (Michael Zuccola) and a student with psychic powers (Anna Rizzo) solve the mystery and catch this ruthless killer before more people are horrifically murdered… or is everyone doomed?

Seven Dorms of Death stars such talented thespians as Anna Rizzo, Aaron Andrade, Michael Zuccola, Dan Mauro, Laura Pepper, Evan Clinton, Rich Tretheway, Hannah Lum, Tobias Wilson, Graham King, Christian Masters, Bill Pett, Laura Minadeo and a special appearance from cult movie legend Carmine (Psychos in Love) Capobianco!

Seven Dorms of Death will be making it’s world premiere at the Route One Cinema Pub on February 21st at 652 East Washington Street, North Attleboro, Massachusetts at 8:15pm.
