OK, I know that’s not the most mature way to start an article, but I’m actually pretty excited that someone took up the mantle of producing weird creature features now that SyFy has moved on to more “demographic” broadcasting. After going into production in July 2015, the latest film from Robert Elkins has already finished the editing process and been released to DVD and VOD through Bayview Entertainment.
Now you get to experience a “grindhouse zombie movie” (Awesome Magazine) and “the coolest creature film of the year” (Rue Morgue) when you stream or purchase your copy of Zombie Croc! The film is summarized as, “A team of researchers and a mysterious hunter known only as “Crocodile Jack” venture into the swamp to battle a mysterious swamp beast that has been mutilating town locals for months. They learn that a Voodoo Priest is rumored to be orchestrating a resurrection of not only ancient creatures but a horde of flesh eating zombies.”
Zombie Croc was directed by Robert Elkins (Zombthology, Zombie Isle) based on the screenplay by Jim Ayres. Cast members include Elkins, Brittney Scalf, Apryl Crowell, Crystal Howell, Tony Jones, Lafnmn Jones, Ken Peebles, Dewey Brandon Collins, Vivian Thompson, Linda Witt, David Witt, Jerry Eugene Long, and Alyssa Wheaton.
