Andrea Ricca is an Italian director who has realized, since 1998, some science fiction and horror short movies. They have reached more than 4,000,000 views online and were welcomed positively by international reviewers such as the English “SFX UK,” the French “Ecran Fantastique,” the historical “Hammer Film,” and many more websites including StarBurst, Dread Central, Horror-Movie.Ca, Arrow in the Head, Bloody Disgusting, HorrorSociety, Daily Horror, The CGBROS and festivals like Fright Night International Film Fest.
Andrea Ricca received a diploma in artistic subjects and a degree in sociology. Now he works as a 3D designer, editor and photographer. He also collaborated on some films and for the Giffoni Film Festival. In the year 2012 he published the book: “EFFETTI SPECIALI LOW BUDGET (LOW BUDGET SPECIAL EFFECTS)”. All his works are zero budget productions, without any troupe; they had no external contributions and made no payment to the sharers. They were realized with only the help of a HD Cam and a computer. Writing, shooting, editing, 3D modellation and animation, compositing and post-production were all made by the director himself.
