Get Into A Fender Bender This June on Chiller TV!

13123097_766761316794215_8150901743894270071_oThe other day I posted a poll on our website asking who you’d be more afraid of on the open road, John Ryder from The Hitcher or Rusty Nail from Joy Ride. The scenario got me thinking that we really need a new open road horror film where unwilling participants are forced to play a cat and mouse game of life and death on winding highways. Well, Chiller TV is about to deliver us a film of that caliber and it’s speeding our way this June!

Fender Bender is going to make its television world premiere on June 3rd at 9:00PM on Chiller TV. Described as equal parts action-thriller and old school slasher fun from the 80’s, Fender Bender is the first film written and directed by Mark Pavia in almost 20 years; his previous feature film being Stephen King’s The Night Flier in 1997! Cast members include Makenzie Vega (“The Good Wife,” Saw), Dre Davis (“Pretty Little Liars,” “Project Runway”), Cassidy Freeman (“Longmire,” “The Vampire Diaries”), Bill Sage (American Psycho, “Boardwalk Empire”), Steven Michael Quezada (“Breaking Bad”), Lora Martinez-Cunningham (“The Messengers”), Gus Krieger, Kelsey Leos Montoya and Harrison Sim.

“In a small New Mexico town, a 17-year-old high school girl who just got her driver’s license gets into her first fender bender, innocently exchanging her personal information with an apologetic stranger. Later that stormy night, she is joined in her desolate suburban home by a couple of her school friends who try their best to make a night out of it, only to be visited by the stranger she so willingly handed all of her information to — a terrifying and bizarre serial killer who stalks the country’s endless miles of roads and streets with his old rusty car, hungrily searching for his next unsuspecting victim.”

I know Chiller TV plays a lot of syndicated shows and replays the same ten movies over and over again, but their dedication to premiering and producing new and original content still makes the network one of the best on television. I cannot wait to see Fender Bender on June 3rd! It’ll be a late birthday present! Buckle up!
