Stop the fuckin’ presses!
This movie needs to get distribution. I know this is going to be up there in b-movie heaven with greats like Evil Bong and Zombeavers, and of course, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. I need to see this movie. Now.
One of the many titles being shopped around Cannes 2016 is a horror gem titled Attack of the Killer Donuts. Directed by Scott Wheeler of Transmorphers II and Avalanche Sharks fame, the film follows a chemical accident that turns ordinary donuts into blood thirsty killers, and it’s up to Johnny (Justin Ray), Michelle (Kayla Compton) and Howard (Ben Heyman) to save the town before they’re all devoured by the breakfast treats from Hell.
The film also features appearances from adult film star Christine Nguyen and soap opera star Michael Swan.
Attack of the Killer Donuts was produced by Restless Nomad Films and Rogue State based on the screenplay by Chris De Christopher, Nathan Dalton and Rafael Diaz-Wagner.
Expect to see it in late 2016 or early 2017.
