Promo Poster for Nick LaMantia’s Body Farm Has Me Feeling Inquisitive.

13237581_10103608694085063_3634957285284192307_nYou can’t kill me… but you will save me. What does this mean, Nick? What does this mean? The official promotional poster for upcoming horror film Body Farm was unveiled on Wednesday and it has me feeling all sorts of inquisitive. What is that log line about, especially in relation to the upcoming feature’s plot, which follows a small team of filmmakers heading out on a promising story lead to a medical research facility only to learn the bloody truth of what some will do to save a life.

Ghosts? Human experiments? And is Body Farm going to be shot as found footage, a style of film-making that’s almost synonymous with the plot of “filmmakers heading to…”

I guess all will be revealed in the coming weeks as Body Farm is currently in the middle of principal photography in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Produced by Nickel 17 Productions and KVT Productions, Body Farm is the feature film directorial debut of Nick LaMantia, who is co-directing the project with writer Brandon Keenan. Both men will also produce the horror film with John Gallagher and cinematographer Steven Croner.

Body Farm will star LaMantia, Keenan, Richard Christy (“Howard Stern”), Shawn Shelpman, Torrie Smith, Doug Daniels, Brett Hollabaugh, Gena Weiss and Joe Najphor.

Look for it in early 2017!
