A Broken Mirror, A Technological Killer in Eros Bosi’s Evil Selfie.

Y13177856_1026964380691286_5814630124481141000_nou know what’s better than independent horror? Independent horror with flavors from another country! Today I was contacted by writer/director Eros Bosi in reference to his new short film, Evil Selfie. Evil Selfie is currently in post-production and it’s an Italian film that was shot near Terni, Umbria. Though the film’s dialogue is spoken in Italian, Bosi is hoping to make the project an international hit by creating a version with English subtitles.

Considering that you may see Evil Selfie at a film festival near you before the end of 2016, let me give you some details on this upcoming title. First, Evil Selfie was a collaboration of sorts between Eros Bosi and his co-creators Luca Alessandro and Luigi Nappa under production company Empire Video Alex Visani. Cast members appearing in this short include Bosi, Gene Gnocchi, Diletta Vedovelli, Chiara Palombi and Maurizio Bolli.

Evil Selfie follows the character of Isabella, “a young girl who lives in a small town. Through a strange series of events, caused by a broken mirror, she meets Fabiano and Mara, mad like her for taking selfies. All the new encounters are hiding something, and sometimes only a mobile phone can show the truth..”
