Blinky Productions to Unleash The Weary Traveler!

Frankenstein Story Goes Live Next Friday!

Frankenstein1Blinky Productions is quite the fitting name for the company owned and operated by writer/director Chris R. Notarile because if you blink at all then you miss another exciting short film or web-series from the incredible director who’s currently creating the highest quality Nightmare on Elm Street fan films on the net. Seriously, check them out. With season two of his web-series “Phantom Faye” recently announced for January 2017 and a small cult following, the film-maker is set to release a new project on Friday, July 1st, and he’s doing so by use of another classic horror movie character, though this one goes waaaaay back.

All the way back to 1893, in fact, many years after the character’s debut in 1818. If you don’t recognize the date, iconic novel Frankenstein was published that year by author Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley. Over the last two centuries, the original concept of the story and sentient creature design have changed drastically and Notarile is hoping to explore the original content in a modern way. In a new press release, he says, “This short is meant to depict The Monster as accurately as possible to his description in the original novel.” Not only that, but the film – titled The Weary Traveler – can almost be considered a direct sequel in terms of story-line as it will shed some light on where The Monster is nearly a century after the death of his creator.

The Weary Traveler stars Sid O’Connell (Turned) and Ciprian Cosma (The Specialist).
