  • 1990 – Jennifer Lawrence, starred in “House at the End of the Street”, “X-Men: First Class”, “X-Men: Days of Future Past”, “The Devil You Know”, “The Hunger Games.”
  • 1985 – Emily Kinney, starred as “Beth Greene” in “The Walking Dead (TV Series)” and also appeared in “The Following (TV Series).”
  • 1974 – Natasha Henstridge who starred in the films “Species,” “Species II,” “Species III” and “Ghosts of Mars.”
  • 1972 – Ben Affleck who appeared in the films “Phantoms,” “Hollywoodland,” “Armageddon” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Daredevil” and will portray “Batman” in the upcoming “Batman vs. Superman.”
  • 1970 – Anthony Anderson, best known for playing “Detective Kevin Bernard” on “Law and Order.” He also appeared in the films “Transformers” and “Scary Movie 3 & 4″ and “Urban Legends: Final Cut.”
  • 1950 – Gaylen Ross, best known for portraying “Francine” in George A. Romero’s “Dawn of the Dead.” She also appeared in “Madman” and “Creepshow.”
  • 1936 – Pat Priest who played “Marilyn Munster” on the series “The Munsters,” and appeared in the film “The Incredible Two Headed Transplant.”
  • 1933 – Lori Nelson who starred in “Revenge of the Creature,” “The Day the World Ended” and “The Naked Monster.”
  • 1929 – Gordon Russell who wrote for the original “Dark Shadows” soap opera and wrote the screenplay for the film “House of Dark Shadows.”
  • 1924 – Vincent Beck who played “Voldar” in “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.”
  • 1919 – Bowery Boy Huntz Hall who faced off against Bela Lugosi twice, first in “Spooks Run Wild” and then again in “Ghosts On the Loose.”
  • 1903 – Professional apeman Charles Gemora, who appeared as apes or monsters in the films “I Married a Monster From Outer Space,” the 1932 version of “Murders In the Rue Morgue” and “War of the Worlds.”

DIED ON THIS DAY IN HORROR HISTORY

  • 2013 – Lisa Robin Kelly, best known for playing “Laurie Forman” on “That ’70s Show (TV Series).” She also appeared in “Charmed (TV Series)”. “Poltergeist: The Legacy (TV Series)”, “Amityville: Dollhouse”, “The X-Files (TV Series)”, and “Terror in the Shadows.” She passed away at the all too young age of 43 from a drug overdose.
  • 2007 – Anthony Carras, producer of the films “Comedy of Terrors,” “Ghost in the Invisible Bikini” and “Master of the World,” passed away at the age of 86.
  • 1996 – Joe Seneca, appeared in “Friday the 13th (TV Series) and “The Blob” remake. He passed away at the age of 77.
  • 1988 – Ronald Stein who composed the scores for such films as “Spider Baby,” “Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet” “and “The Haunted Palace.” passed away at the age of 58.
  • 1979 – William Schramm who appeared in “Dracula’s Daughter,” passed away at the age of 75.
