Actor Database and Online Store

So… whats up freaks!! In our continuing effort to help out the indie horror community, we have another feature or two on the website. This time its the Indie Horror Actor Database. Similar to IMDB, you can register for free and list your profile/bio/resume on the website! Great for up and coming actors trying to get their name out there as well as established folks looking to get more work.

Plus the online store is now open, once again!! This time we have figured it out… I hope! There is not too much in there as of right now, but we are looking for people to sell their goods with us on a commission base, along with selling digital copies of your movies too!

Facebook and More Changes

Well if you havent noticed by now, you can sign into the network here using your facebook info. Pretty simple really, and it will leave your profile pic, info, and everything just the same. Of course if you do not feel comfortable with that then by all means sign up or into the network using the regular way

Along with that…. there will be plenty of changes to the site in the next month or so while we are getting prepared for 2012. Nothing to drastic, just more stuff on the backend of things, but if you can tell, the site is already changed a little bit. More on that coming later

Welcome everyone!

So here we are again! With a site that basically started out as a message board/forum, we have slowly progressed out of that type to a more blogging/news website. Although that is working out great, we wanted to try and head back into the more social aspect and personal connection aspect that we started out doing years ago. We have been through several different types of forums, message boards, software, and everything in between with some doing well and others full of hacks and viruses. So we decided to try it again… why not. We are up for it, even if it fails again..

So here we are with a new Horror Society Network!

This time it is very similar to Facebook in how you interact with not only the website but with each other. You are able to use this as a forum board along with creating groups, uploading pictures, adding friends, using the main page as a timelime, and more coming very soon.

Like our name says, we want this site to be interactive, used as a social platform to talk and chat with others just like you, and to be a part of a society… yeah a Horror Society! Here you will be able to network with others, share ideas, promote your films, discuss the great world of Indie Horror, and hopefully make a few friends in the process.

If this is so much like Facebook, then why use this place instead of Facebook? Well… dont! Use both! Facebook is great, its a huge network of 500 million people… so enjoy that all you want to. We do very much. But here you will get to interact with others on a smaller more personal level and in some ways that is better than the huge networks with so many people and groups of all sorts of crazy shit… sort of like big budget, nameless, only for the money horror movies – compared to the more original and quality indie horror movies…. catch my drift.

So everything is pretty simple here to figure out. You have a profile, avatar, can create groups, picture albums, message each other, friend people, create forum posts, and more.
