Internet-based Service For Film

horror adHollywood, CA (PRWEB) February 28, 2007 — Zoobody.com, the Internet-based service for film, television, commercials and music videos, and Michael Meltzer, producer of the sci-fi classic “The Hidden” and Steven King’s “Sometimes They Come Back … Again” starring Hillary Swank, have joined forces to launch a thrilling new online competition to find the ultimate horror movie script.

Interested screenwriters are invited to visit Zoobody.com to fill out an application and submit a one-page treatment in the sci-fi, psychological thriller or teen horror category. Submissions are due by April, Friday the 13th.

“I’m pleased to join forces with Zoobody in this creative effort,” says
Meltzer. “Zoobody.com enables motion picture talent and crew members to interact with film industry executives in a new and innovative way.”

Meltzer will hire the full cast and crew for the film directly from Zoobody.com, with a projected release date on Halloween 2007. Meltzer will also head the selection process by choosing the top 30 treatments, which will be posted on the website. Zoobody.com members will then be invited to vote and choose their favorite treatment. The winner, selected by the fans, will fly to Hollywood for a weekend to meet with Meltzer and his staff and to work together on the script development.

According to Zoobody founder and President Dan Faiman, “Our service enables members of the entertainment industry to use the web to choose actors, supporting crews and other talent and to create and produce their end-product entirely on line.”

Besides submitting a treatment, those horror fans that are ready for a real scream and would like a chance to work on the film or be cast as an actor to appear in it are also invited to join Zoobody.com to submit their materials. There is no charge for Zoobody.com membership. For more information about Zoobody and its casting and entertainment services, please visit https://www.zoobody.com.
