It looks nice because it has actress Odette Yustman standing with her derriere pointed towards us. Oh sorry, that is French for posterior, rump, seat, ass, bottom, buttocks, can, fanny, keister, rear, rear end, etc…
On a side note, The Unborn was filmed in various locations throughout Illinois, including Chicago, Kankakee, Lake Forest, and Melrose Park. So, if anything, go out and support a horror film that was actually filmed in the Chicago-land area and not in New York or somewhere in Canada. One other tidbit of info I wanted to mention: C.S. Lee, who plays the perverted Vince Masuka on the very popular Showtime serial killer hit Dexter, is also in this film.
I just reviewed Wicked Lake (2008) and hope that The Unborn (2009) is a decent horror film with a semi-intelligent script and that their ad campaign has not reeled us in with Yustman’s firm and taut ASS! Yustman was in the film Cloverfield (2008), not one of my favs, and The Unborn also has graced the cover of the newest issue of Fangoria, which may also not be a good thing. I love to read Fangoria, but let me tell you, they have been known to hype up total doozies that amounted to a terrible film. With a release date for Jan. 9th, I hope that The Unborn is a decent film, and not just a great poster!
I wasn't able to go, but a group of my friends from the Elmhurst IL area went to go see The Unborn, and then went out for dinner at Harlo, the diner in Melrose Park where one of the scenes was shot…they said it was a fun evening!
