Indie Horror Auditions

The Willows is the working title of an upcoming low-budget, independent horror film by WKU film and video production professor Ron DeMarse. .

DeMarse, who wrote the first draft will be completing the final draft after several colleagues and students on his team have finished making their contributions to the script.  DeMarse will also direct the movie which will be filmed locally in July and August.

The plot involves a group of students exploring the property that one of them has recently inherited.  The old plantation was mysteriously abandoned in the 1860’s, and the friends are about to discover why.

Open auditions are to be held May 5 (5-8pm), 7 (5-8pm) and 9 (1-4pm) in Gordon Wilson Hall, room 308 on WKU’s campus.  No experience is necessary, but if you have resumes, head shots or photographs you are encouraged to bring them.
