The Path of Torment

The feature film written, produced and directed by Gary C. Warren has kicked off its release with a successful U.S. festival run.

Synopsis:
Ken and Ellen have just moved into a new home in the suburbs. On the day of their housewarming party, they invite two men dressed as Mormon Missionaries into their home. Unfortunately for them, the men are not who they appear to be. Part torture horror and part dark comedy, the Path of Torment is something no one will forget.

Starring: Dona Ellis, Craig Beffa, Joe Noelker, Gary C. Warren and Randy Manning.

The independently released feature was shot in the filmmaker’s hometown of Saint Louis, MO. Filmmaker Gary C. Warren actually financed the film by subjected himself to medical testing and research.

‘The Path of Torment’ has already gained several great reviews on sites such as www.moviecynics.com, www.wearemoviegeeks.com and www.411mania.com.

‘The Path of Torment’ recently started its festival run at the Action on Film Festival, where it took nominations for Best Actress and Best Guerrilla Feature. It has also been featured at the Fright Night Film Festival in Louisville, KY and the Horrific Film Festival in San Antonio, TX.

‘The Path’ has plans to continue its festival run throughout this year, having already submitted entries to several other notable horror fests. Following this, the filmmakers plan for a DVD release in the U.S. and overseas.
