New Terminal Hotel
Don Malek (Stephen Geoffreys) isn’t the usual tenant found in the skid row hotels of downtown L.A. Overcome with grief since the murder of his fiancee Katherin, the successful screenwriter-turned murderous vigilante is bent on revenge against studio head Stanley Glissberg, the man cleared of murder charges in Katherin’s death.
Don hasn’t forgotten – and Glissberg’s going to pay. Enter Don’s tenacious literary agent Ava Collins (Tiffany Shepis), who tracks him down and wants to sell his new script – if there is one – or cut him loose. Don assures her he’s holed-up in the dingy room to write, and his screenplay’s a work-in-progress. But after the kidnap, torture, and murder of Glissberg, he still feels a void inside. Adding to his slippery slope, Don calls on a neighbor to help hide the crime, and in doing so, uncovers despicable abuses down the hall. Spitz (Ezra Buzzington) is a hard-drinking former Marine and paraplegic, with a penchant for hookers and a violent streak.
When he asks a return of the favor – to get rid of an injured girl in his room – Don Malek must choose between turning a blind eye, or quickening his own destructive spiral. Add to the mix a relentless homicide detective, a nosy has-been rock star, an unscrupulous rival Hollywood agent, and Ava Collins’ increasingly warped frame of mind, and the tenants of the New Terminal Hotel are about to check into a vortex of revenge, madness and murder…
