Hey, guys. I was passed along this casting call by Michael Mitchell, the director behind A Trick. Since this is a casting not through a major agency, I just wanted to verify that Michael Mitchell, Light Productions, and JH productions are professional, well referenced, and a friend to us here at Horror Society. Together they have worked on projects such as The Man In The Maze (which was screened overseas), Jackson Horn (TV show on local FOX affiliate), and the upcoming supernatural thriller, Contrition.
A Trick is part one of a series that follows, “… a group of serial killers as they engage in the lifestyle that has garnered their rise on the FBI’s TOP 100 Dangerous Criminals list. We meet Valarie as she comes toe to toe with a seemingly gentle do-gooder, but she quickly learns, there is a bit more to this “gentleman” than meets the eye.”
The auditions will be a two-day event starting this weekend, June 16th and June 17th. The casting is being held to try to find the star of A Trick’s first film, the role of Valarie. Please be prepared and ready to appear in front of casting directors by 11:00am at the Jackson’s Sports Bar and Clubhouse in Yakima, WA. You don’t need to have a huge resume or lead credits; any actress is encouraged to audition!
