Mike O’Mahony is back! The bus full of blind kid killing, homeless man piss drowning director is back and it seems like he is continuing his streak of over the top, disgusting horror film making. This time, he is working on a new indie film – I.B.S. Most people will recognize the acronym as irritable bowl syndrome. Yes, it’s a safe bet… the “ew” factor will continue.
In I.B.S. we find Larry, “the loveable loser who can’t get over his intense irritable bowel syndrome. Until one day a workplace mishap helps him discover that murder cures what ails him.” The log line here is, “When He has to go, YOU have to go.” The twisted tale, also written by Mike O’Mahony, is the third horror film by production company Maniac Films.
The film will star James Costa, D.M. Folger Jr (Deer Crossing), Lauren Ojeda, Sean Flaherty, Matt Garafalo, Lewis Beaver, and many more. You’ll be able to catch them together on screen when I.B.S. is released, hopefully in 2013.
