Virginia Obscura is going to kick some serious ass. How do I know this? By the awesome cast, of course. Not only does this title, which is directed by Toby Osborne, star Matt Mitler (The Mutilator), Christopher Marrone (Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies), and Ken Abraham (Creepozoids), but it will also feature scream queen royalty Linnea Quigley and current indie scream queen Jessica Cameron; both of Silent Night franchise fame. You’re already hooked by the cast – right? – so I bet you’re wondering about the plot. Here ya’ go:
“At the heart of most slasher films, there’s a bunch of sex-crazed teenagers getting drunk and wild, but what if a masked killer doesn’t crash the party? Instead what if, 20 years later, their darkest sins are suddenly exposed… and punished. This is the story of a young woman’s embittered search for her birth father, after being conceived at one of those drunken parties. Her mother shamefully revealed the names of four men on her deathbed – these potential fathers awaken in a secluded farmhouse, kidnapped by the “daughter” they never knew existed. Production of Virginia Obscura has just recently began, but horror fans can expect this film to see some sort of release in the summer of 2013. But there is still one question. If the plot says “four men,” then how come only three are mentioned so far? Could the film be prepping for a big star to be revealed? I’m sure all this and more will be revealed when the Virginia Obscura news starts rolling in. I know I can’t wait for another Linnea Quigley movie AND a new Jessica Cameron movie!
