A recreation of the first “visitation” scene from the 1981 film. I flipped genders of the main characters as an experiment in reversing Laura Mulvey’s male gaze… and just because I thought it would be cool.

“Hi. I’m the writer/director of last year’s short film COUGARS and the 2010 feature WOMEN’S STUDIES.
I’ve gone back to get my Master’s degree in film at American University. For a directing class, I was required to “remake” a scene form an already produced screenplay. Because I’m a fan, I chose the first visitation scene from An American Werewolf in London, doing a little gender flip to keep it interesting.” – Lonnie Martin
