Another exciting world premiere for us East Coast horror fans.
It’s been a while, but Blood Slaughter Massacre will have its premiere screening on May 19, 2013. I’m sure a lot of you have seen the Blood Slaughter Massacre/Mass Graves Pictures crew at multiple horror conventions, but for those of you who haven’t, let me give you a little background information.
Blood Slaughter Massacre is a retro horror film that pays homage to the classic B movies of the 1980s. When I first met the Mass Graves Pictures gang at Monster Mania last year, I was even able to cop a VHS of the trailer and other media for the film. A VHS, you say? Yes, a VHS! Anyway, the plot of the movie is as follows:
“Ten years ago, Officers Fincher (Matt Cody) and Cobb (Byron Howard) were called out to investigate a noise complaint, and what they found was far worse; 24 people, murdered in cold blood. The murderer escaped, and the Havenwood Police Department covered it up, inventing a story about an out-of-control fire. Barely escaping with his life, Fincher tried to put it all behind him, by drinking it away.
Now a Detective, he is investigating the death of two young girls. After meeting some of the local teenagers, Danielle (Danielle Calhoun) and Carla (Carmela Hayslett-Grillo) Fincher gets a tip from the Coroner (Mike Roche), telling him that the Ripper has returned to finish what he started a decade ago. With no one on his side, Fincher must find out how these girls fit into the Rippers plan, and stop him before The Ripper can complete his bloody ritual!”
The world premiere of Blood Slaughter Massacre will be held at the Anthology Film Archives, located at 32 Second Avenue, New York, NY. The screening takes place at 2:45PM with a $5 admission at the door. For more information, check out the Facebook invite here: https://www.facebook.com/events/372248692891799/.
